Sunday [-C-u-r-r-e-n-t-] Event: Beginning Electronics Practical Sessions

Organizer: Splat Space - Durham's Hackerspace

Get together and learn and teach electronics with hands-on activities.

Share simple exercises that help you practice Ohm's Law. Build real stuff for real application at Splat*Space or for your home. Show off your stuff and show others the ins and outs of everything from making a WIFI antenna to the right way to charge and discharge a battery.

There will be the teaching of electronic test equipment and learning how to design and debug circuits. How to select parts. How and where to purchase parts. What tools to use when. Even where to find some good reference material.

This Session:
Host: Scott Hall
Topic: TBD

No prior experience is required to attend, and don't worry, there are limited supplies and boards available to borrow. If you have your own parts, you are encouraged to bring them, such as a breadboard, tools, DMM, and project parts, or just bring yourself.

You don't need to be a member of Splat*Space in order to attend, but please do ask about membership options while you're there. It's a great group of folks and there's a good chance that you'll share interests with many of the other members and attendees.
