Kanban from the Inside
"I set myself the task of describing the 'humane, start with what you do now approach to change' not as a productivity tool, but as a management method built around a strong framework of values-a way to help organizations work better for their people, their customers, and other stakeholders." - Mike Burrows, author Kanban from the Inside (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23162381-kanban-from-the-inside).
Join UK-based author MIke Burrows as he shares his journey and insights through the world of Kanban that brought him to publish Kanban from the Inside, his definitive book for Kanban practitioners. MIke’s evening session for ARTP will provide a personal and “birds-eye” view of Kanban essentials, including:
· Achieving customer focus, flow, and leadership through Kanban
· Introduction to the Kanban Method through its 9 values and 3 agendas
· The role of transparency, balance, and collaboration
· Powerful ways to capture, represent, and deliver on customer needs
· Models used to understand and apply Kanban more effectively
Mike’s evening talk will also include a brief and practical tour through related bodies of knowledge, including Systems Thinking, Lean, Agile, and Theory of Constraints.
As an added bonus, Mike’s session will take us into Agendashift, a modern, inclusive, and fundamentally outcome-centric approach to organizational transformation. Mike will be presenting on Agendashift at TriAgile as well as leading a One-day Core Agendashift workshop on Friday, April 6th (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/core-agendashift-facilitating-outcome-oriented-change-tickets-42769890895) following the conference.
