• What we'll do
Please Note: The AMG Quadcopter and Aerial Photography Interest Group normally meets on the 1st Thursday each month. Due to the current winter weather and risk of bad roads the January meeting has been moved from Thursday[masked] to Tuesday 1-9-2018. Future 2018 meetings will return to our normal 1st Thursday schedule. Did you or someone in your family get a new Quadcopter for Christmas? Want to learn more about how to pilot it? Want to learn about safety and the laws and rules around drones? Want to learn how to do great videography? Then come out to the January meeting of the Alamance Makers Guild Quadcopter and Aerial Photography Group. Meet other Quadcopter owners and pilots and get involved in our local quadcopter community!
This Meeting is open to AMG Members, their Guests, and anyone interested in learning more about this Alamance Makers Guild Interest Group. (we ask that anyone who is interested in attending future meetings please join the Alamance Makers Guild as a member and supporter, membership is $36/Year and supports the activities of the group as well as providing funding for Maker Faire Burlington and other charitable projects in the community) All ages, skill levels, and quadcopter interests (i.e. Quadcopters, Racing Drones, Aerial Photography, etc) are welcome. You do not have to own a drone in order to participate. Please feel free to bring your quadcopter to this meeting. Show off, ask questions, get help, make repairs, etc. Also feel free to bring your videos or photos to show off for show-n-tell. Please share this event and this group with anyone you know who is interested in Quadcopters or Aerial Photography. If you are a member of the AMG please ask to join our Facebook group at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/469461556769350/
