Crafty Circuits

Organizer: Women Who Code Raleigh Durham

We are going to be making a name badge (or power bracelet, etc) with light-up LEDs.  We'll have a few templates to follow, or you can make something up yourself.  Our lovely hosts, Spreedly, will provide canapes.

Seats will be limited based on the battery kits, so please keep your RSVP up-to-date.  We want to give everyone the opportunity to make one, with no supplies wasted.  If you would like to bring/share materials, please bring fabric, felt, fabric paint, needles, needle threaders, or anything.

The kit will include:

• CR2032 battery

• battery holder

• conductive thread

• 2 LEDs

• fabric and some adornments

This is a beginner-friendly craft where very minimal sewing/electrical experience is needed.  We can do this together, so feel free to try something new without worry!
