Topic: Are you interviewing for a software developer position? Wondering what they’ll ask? Learn more about what technical interviewers look for when evaluating developer candidates and what a typical interview can look like. We will also discuss common interview topics and some strategies for passing the dreaded whiteboard challenge. Bring your questions and fears and we’ll do our best to demystify the process based on our many years interviewing and hiring software developers for companies large and small. Speaker Bio: Sean Doherty is the CTO at CrossComm ( He is a principal in the business and specializes in software and information architecture. Always passionate about technical innovation and breakthroughs, he drives new technology adoption at CrossComm and is also comfortable with a plethora of client and server side technologies. He has a formal programming education with both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence from WPI. Sean has been a consultant for over a decade with companies large and small and oversees code quality across CrossComm’s iOS, Android, AR/VR, and web projects. Sean is also cofounder and instructor at Project Shift (, which aims to be the premier coding school in North Carolina, blending coding bootcamp skills with industry best practices and computer science fundamentals.
