OK, everyone's heard about it but what does it mean for you and why does it take so many people to explain it? I'm going to try to simplify the message a bit and then I'll go over some basics of Tensorflow usage. If you have already been exposed to Tensorflow, you will not get anything new out of this part.
I've been a software engineer for a LONG time. I'm not famous because my jobs have never required me to become a master of any of the numerous technologies I've worked with over the years. On the other hand, my curiosity has always gotten me into trouble, so I just keep on learning new stuff. I have faith that someday someone will ask me to become an expert on something.
On a more serious note; I have a BS in Medical Technology and a MS in Computer Science both from RIT. My thesis topic was on a variant of AI before AI was cool. (neural networks)
