Are women included in clinical trials? Do some well-known diseases impact women differently than men, as shown by research? Are the diseases that affect women the most being studied? And is women's health more encompassing than just "bikini focus" diseases? Maya Dusenbery addresses all of these in _Doing Harm_.

As always, you do not have to have finished the book to attend our meetup. We might refer to a questions provided at http://www.litlovers.com/run-a-book-club/questions-for-nonfiction

• What to bring
We will start off with our usual go-around-the room tradition of "what is the best/worst thing that happened/will happen to me in my private/personal life during the last/next month?" That's 8 things, and maybe give them some thought prior to our meeting. P.S. It's always nice to get a visit from the refreshment fairy.

The instructions posted at the link http://bit.ly/FindMomentum are very important. Please visit the handout from Momentum Learn.

As for any Data + Women + Triangle meeting, attendees have the option of getting listed on the monthly QUICK LIST (https://www.meetup.com/DataPlusWomenPlusTriangle/messages/boards/thread/51260443) (which is distributed to our 250+ members) under any of the following headers:

• looking for an opportunity

• have an opportunity

• congratulations on that new job or certification

• have new public content

• points for meeting up on your own

• really looking for a partner for a presentation someday

• earnest pleas from members to other members
